The Garden of Dionysus

“The Garden of Dionysus” is conceived as a unified composition extending across both sides of the vehicle and the rear tailgate. Its visual language is built on the interplay of black lacquer, deep graphite tones, charcoal textures, and restrained cool-gray reflections. The airbrush artwork does not imitate decals, prints, or decorative wraps. Every image is integrated into the vehicle’s geometry: door lines, body creases, handles, panel gaps, wheel arches, and transitions between functional surfaces. The artwork is interrupted by structural gaps, flows around the body details, and preserves the visual clarity of the black lacquer finish. On one side, the central motif is a fragmented graphite bas-relief of Dionysus — an image of ancient power, freedom, celebration, and living nature. The sculptural mask appears as a trace of classical memory emerging from the depth of the dark surface. On the opposite side, a concealed image of a panther unfolds. It is not presented directly, but gradually reveals itself within the botanical forms and black lacquered negative spaces. This motif continues the Dionysian theme through fluidity, instinct, silence, and inner strength. The rear tailgate is conceived as a separate conceptual surface: a dark, weathered stone wall partially reclaimed by flowing vegetation. It reads as a surviving fragment of the garden, where time has not destroyed the image, but made it deeper and quieter. --- ## Explanation of the Tailgate Inscription At the center of the tailgate, the following Latin phrase appears: **NULLUM BONUM SINE SOCIO IUCUNDUM EST** Its meaning may be rendered as: **“No good thing is truly pleasant without someone with whom to share it.”** A shorter translation is: **“Nothing good brings joy without a companion.”**

There are gardens that never disappear. When time conceals the paths, names fade, and stone becomes part of the earth, something greater than memory remains: an almost imperceptible presence of beauty, freedom, and ancient power. **The Garden of Dionysus** is a meditation on the idea that oblivion does not always mean loss. **Metamorphoses of Metal** is a series of airbrush concepts in which the car body becomes not a background for an image, but the body of the artistic form itself. Faces, botanical currents, skeletal and organic structures emerge from the depth of dark lacquer. They follow the vehicle’s geometry, enter its lines and volumes, and transform the familiar perception of metal: a solid surface begins to feel like living matter. Volume in these works does not sit on top of the bodywork. It is created from within through light, shadow, depth of color, and the sculptural logic of form. Each image preserves the character of a specific vehicle while revealing another state within it — hidden anatomy, movement, memory, strength, or a living presence.
